Life for the workers was normally bad for them. Once the Chinese workers of a railroad went on strike. It was June 25 that it started and it lasted for about 1 week. The workers just stopped working. The owner ended up taking rations, adding salary, and more. In the end the workers starving got more rations more pay but no paycheck for the month.
How was life normally bad for them. Were they overworked, mistreated, what tells me they had it bad.
